Cardale Jones is a professional football player once again. But this time, he’ll have to travel north of the border.
If you have followed football at all over the last 5-10 years, you likely have heard the name Cardale Jones. The former NFL, and XFL QB, had grown somewhat of a cult following after his college career at Ohio State University.
Tis the season for free agents to promote themselves in hopes of finding a spot in an NFL training camp. Former DC Defenders QB Cardale Jones has done just that, via Twitter: The hint is in reference to the belief that current Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers would rather retire than suit up for the club this year.
On the field, it looks like the Houston Roughnecks are the team to beat after they took care of the Dallas Renegades on Sunday. On the other hand, quarterbacks continued to struggle big-time this weekend. That included both Landry Jones and Brandon Silvers.
Whether or not the XFL survives, it provides an opportunity right now for players to showcase their talents for the NFL.
