The Colts worked out a DT who has played for Gus Bradley before

The Indianapolis Colts held an interesting workout for a couple of wide receivers and defensive tackles.

Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reported a four-player workout. 

Kevin Austin (WR): 

Kevin Austin is a 6'2 WR who signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He spent the 2022 season on their practice squad and was waived by the team on cut-down day this year. Austin spent his college years at Notre Dame. He played three seasons with the Fighting Irish but only had one season with extensive playing time. During his senior season, Austin caught 48 passes for 888 yards and seven touchdowns. 

Tyrie Cleveland (WR): 

Tyrie Cleveland is a 6'2 WR who the Denver Broncos drafted with the 252nd pick in the 7th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He appeared in 23 games with the Broncos from 2020 to 2022. He recorded eight receptions for 91 yards during that span. Cleveland spent his college years at the University of Florida. In four seasons with the Gators, he totaled 79 receptions for 1,271 yards and eight touchdowns. 

Mike Pennel (DT): 

Mike Pennell signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He's spent time with five NFL teams during his career, most recently with the Chicago Bears in 2022. He's appeared in 118 games over nine seasons, totaling two sacks and 202 total tackles. 

Darius Philon (DT): 

Darius Philon was drafted by the (at the time) San Diego Chargers with the 192nd pick in the 6th round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent four years with the Chargers before becoming a free agent. It would be three more years before he would appear in live game action again with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021. He's appeared in 21 games and recorded 11.5 sacks and 107 total tackles during his career. Philon has also played under now Colts defensive coordinator Gus Bradley multiple times in his career. He was the Raiders defensive coordinator in 2021 and. the Chargers defensive coordinator in 2017 and 2018.
