Report: Rockets' Bruno Caboclo broke quarantine, in self-isolation

On Monday, ESPN's Tim Bontemps reported that Houston Rockets forward Bruno Caboclo broke quarantine guidelines within the NBA bubble site at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Per Bontemps, Caboclo was unaware he wasn't allowed to leave his room during the initial quarantine period. Because he did so, he is now on day two of a 10-day self-isolation period. He will also undergo stricter coronavirus testing to ensure he's negative for the virus.

Also on Monday, Houston teammate and one-time regular season Most Valuable Player Russell Westbrook confirmed he's positive for the coronavirus. "I'm currently feeling well, quarantined, and looking forward to joining my teammates when I am cleared," Westbrook tweeted. "Thank you for all the well wishes and continued support. Please take this virus seriously. Be safe. Mask up!"

The NBA is scheduled to launch a 22-team model to crown a 2019-20 champion on July 30.
