The Chicago Bulls continue to make moves to improve the roster as free agency gets going. The team has called upon former Phoenix Sun forward Torrey Craig. The deal is for two years with a player option after the first year.
Craig comes to the Bulls averaging 7.4 PPG, 5.4 RPG, and 1.5 APG. He will have the greatest impact behind the arc on offense. Craig shot 39.5% from the three-point line last season. On the defensive end of the ball, Craig can guard multiple positions, something the Bulls so desperately needed.
With the off-season signings of Craig and guard Jevon Carter the Bulls front office seems clearly focused on three-point shooting and defense. Those were the areas that hurt the Bulls the most last season. Also worth noting, these are both areas that the injured Lonzo Ball would provide major help in 2022-23 had he been healthy. It seems that with At the end of the day, one player is not enough and two heads are better than one.
