Jose Trevino Is Only Focused On 1 Goal

New York Yankees catcher Jose Trevino is living the dream.

Aside from being a part of the team with the best record in all of baseball, he’s getting it done at the plate, hitting .283 with six home runs and 21 RBI.

He had himself a pretty good game last night against the Tampa Bay Rays, picking up two hits while hitting the go-ahead home run as the Yankees won by a final of 5-4.

Bryan Hoch tweeted that Aaron Boone said he believes Trevino should be an All-Star this season, but Trevino only has one goal in mind.

He doesn’t care about being an All-Star, but rather, he wants to win a championship.

Trevino Wants A Ring

This is the drive and desire you hope to see from your players if you’re a manager.

Trevino doesn’t care about whether or not he becomes an All-Star.

Certainly, he appreciates what his manager had to say, but Trevino only cares about the team and winning a World Series title for the fans of New York.

Being team-oriented is what you want from your players, and it’s good to see Trevino display a selfless attitude when it comes to whether or not he should be an All-Star.

Even the best players will tell you that being an All-Star means very little when put to next to the idea of winning a World Series title.

You could ask Aaron Judge and he would probably say the same thing.

Trevino clearly understands that it’s not about him, but rather about the team and what he wants to see the team accomplish.

The ultimate dream is to win a World Series, and Trevino clearly has his priorities set straight.
