A video of a young slugger went viral on Saturday night, and Giancarlo Stanton took notice.

MLB tweeted a clip of a 5-year-old boy named Vinny swinging an impressive stick. Take a look:

This kid has 80-grade bat speed.

Many noticed that the youngster’s swing looked similar to that of New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton. Stanton thought so as well and tweeted a side-by-side video of them:

Vinny’s parents run their son’s Instagram account and have shared other video clips, all showing what an impressive swing the boy has. He didn’t get to be that way without lots of practice, and there’s plenty of evidence showing that.
