Giants RHP Tristan Beck has aneurysm in upper arm
Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

San Francisco Giants right-hander Tristan Beck is out indefinitely with an aneurysm in his upper pitching arm.

The team announced the diagnosis on Thursday after Beck departed spring training to see a vascular specialist at Stanford.

Beck, 27, had been experiencing numbness in his hand. He is evaluating his treatment options and there is no timetable for his return.

Beck made his major league debut last season and went 3-3 with two saves and a 3.92 ERA in 85 innings over 33 games (three starts). He was projected to be a starter for the Giants this season.
