Ex Dodgers star Yasiel Puig explains his side of WILD brawl during recent Winter League game in Venezuela

Yasiel Puig , the former Los Angeles Dodgers star has found himself in the midst of controversy. He recently made the headlines when a video of his involvement in a wild brawl emerged. The 2014 All Star has now shared his side of the story.

Fans were left stunned when a video of Puig involved in a brawl broke out. The incident is reported to have take place during a Winter League game in Venezuela.

In the video footage, Puig appeared to be caught up in a serious altercation. The former MLB star has now defended himself and called out several outlets for their reporting on him.

In one of his tweets on X, the 33-year-old urged the media to stop reporting lies about him and claimed he was hit and kicked with spikes.

The baseball fans were left stunned and surprised when the video of Yasiel Puig being involvement in a chaotic battle emerged. Puig would later defend himself and now shared a different video of the brawl.

In a video shared on X, the former Dodgers star claims he received this video from his agent Lisette Carnet. As per the video, Puig seemed to try and break out the fight but got caught in the melee. He is said to have been “sucker punched” by one opposition player and was later beaten with cleats by three players.

Puig would further attack the media and share a screenshot of Carnet’s conversation with a baseball insider.

This development now underscores the importance of listening to a story from two sides. As his name got dragged in the conversation, Puig came out swinging for the fences and stood firm on his ground.

The right fielder will now be hoping for the baseball world to move on from this. He is currently hoping to end a long championship drought with his team, Tiburones de la Guaira and help them achieve success.
