NC State linebacker Payton Wilson and defensive back Sean Brown each performed very well and were key factors in the Wolfpack's defense largely keeping the Louisville offense in check. Wilson had 10 total tackles, two sacks, a pass breakup, and a fumble recovery. Brown finished the game with eight total tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble.
