Arguably the most interesting prospect in the 2013 class is Baltimore native Aquille Carr.

A lightning quick and freaky athletic guard, Carr electrifies crowds because of his raw ability and the fact that he stands 5-foot-6.

Currently Carr is not ranked by Scout.com, nor Rivals.com or ESPN. But he's certainly drawn attention from people across the country and has become a highlight tape sensation.

On Wednesday morning news broke from Cameron Smith, of Yahoo Sports, that Lottomatica Virtus Roma offered Carr a $750,000 contract to play for their Italian club. This is the same club that had Brandon Jennings for a year.

An offer of that magnitude is hard to believe for a junior in high school. However, Carr confirmed it to Scout Focus' Joe Davis in a video and his high school coach confirmed it to Smith.

What makes the offer even more difficult to comprehend is the amount of varying opinions on Carr.

He's an impressive talent and he's certainly fun to watch, as their isn't a faster guard in high school basketball and his vertical is ridiculous for a guy his size. He's also quite the scorer, despite not being known for his shooting ability.

On the other hand, Carr stands just 5-foot-6 and plays much more like a shooting guard than a point guard. He's wired to score and he has that mentality. He also tends to get a wild at times and is somewhat turnover prone.

So there's pluses and minuses with a prospect like Carr.

But with this news the real question is whether Carr, 17, can legitimately be effective at that size against grown men in Italy?
