USA takes U16 crown
Led by Jabari Parker, who took home the tournament MVP, and Aaron Gordon USA won the Fiba Americas U16's championship.
USA rolled through the tournament winning by 21 or more in every game. The knocked off Argentina in the championship 104-64.
Parker averaged 15.4 points and 6.4 per game. Gordon surged as the event went on and went for 17 points, 11.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists through their five games.
Jahlil Okafor played a major role in the teams success, as he anchored the middle and averaged 14.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per contest.
The U16 squad had used a combination of Larry Austin, Tyus Jones and Conner Frankamp to handle the ball. They combined for 68 assists. Jones had the most with 28 per game.
